"No face detected": what to do

Updated July 23, 2026

A photo lands in error when it has no usable face in it. That's normal for:

Front-facingProfileFrom behindBacklightScene, no peopleGroup photoIllustration
  • shots of the venue, the room, table settings, details, or hands;
  • photos from behind, of silhouettes, or from very far away;
  • faces that are very blurry, very dark, or cut off by the frame;
  • deliberately artistic photos with strong backlighting.

These photos won't appear in any selfie search.

The fix: if you still need to deliver these shots, switch the event to open gallery or mixed mode. Your guests can then reach them freely, without going through recognition.

Warning: if every photo lands in error, it's not about framing. Contact support, because something is wrong on our end.
